The 4094 4" X 58" Primed Box newel post. Crown's patented, factory-primed Box Newel collections offer the same finish as primed balusters and are finished and stained for less installation time. The factory-primed Box Newel Posts are affordable and beautiful upgrades from the industry-standard look.

NOTE: Bottom 21" of the newel is hollow, the rest is solid.

nice post-- not very good paint job
received three post, two were damaged. Joe from Westfire stair parts was very quick with a replace order and pick up of damaged order. I got the painted post hoping to save time on the job, but the paint was chipped on corners of top of post so i had to touch up and blend the paint job. In the end \, came out nice but wasn't satisfied with the quality of paint. will order unpainted next time
