The 6042 handrail is an excellent choice with many applications, including wall-mounted handrails, used with stainless steel products in balustrades, as well as a post to post handrail capability. Fittings Available: 7005 Level Quarter-turn, 7006 Up Easing, 7007 Over Easing.

Red oak, with it's porous grain structure, can be stained to match the color of other exotic hardwoods. Red oak can be clear coated, stained light, medium or dark. Most stains on the market were developed and designed around red oak. Considering the cost, red oak is the most affordable of the milled hardwoods and one of the easiest to work with.

handrail 6042
well guys, you sent the wrong product, high quality but not what I ordered. supposed to be 2.25" w x 1.25" deep, but you shipped 2.25" wide x 1" deep. you deserve 5 stars for quality, 0 stars for paying attention to commuter orders. NOTE: The website makes it very clear (even with a CADD drawings) that the handrail is 2-1/4" Wide and 1-1/16" tall (1.0625).

6042 Red Oak Handrail
Needed to add an opposite side matching handrail to the stairs in the house. Found it here. Joseph fixed a shipping problem and the rail arrived here on time, well packaged, in excellent condition (no finger joints, no flaws), and is exactly what I ordered and need.
