The HF-4400-SP 56" S4S Modern Newel Post is 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" x 56" and available in red oak and white oak only. S4S or contemporary stair newel posts are the versatile collection of the stair part industry. Newel is designed to "stabilize" long runs of handrail.

RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS Special orders or nonstandard products are not subject to return or cancellation if special raw material purchase and/or production has been initiated. All returns of non-defective goods must be in new resale able condition, shipped prepaid, and are subject to a 25% handling and restocking charge. slight dent in a top corner of newel post
If this was to be an actual newel post, it would have had to be returned because of the damage. As a bedpost, it can be turned to the back.
